Victoria Bungay, PhD
Dr. Victoria (Vicky) Bungay is Professor and Canada Research Chair in Gender, Equity, & Community Engagement at the School of Nursing, University of British Columbia. Dr. Bungay’s program of research focuses on improving health and social care with women and youth affected by violence. She works actively with community service organizations to build pathways between community organizations and health and social care services. Currently, Dr. Bungay is leading a pan-Canadian study examining the effectiveness of an innovative outreach model, known as the Community-Led Outreach and Engagement (CLOE) model to provide wrap around support to women and families affected by violence.
