STATEMENT OF RECONCILIATION

COGS is committed to elevating and centering Indigenous voices, scholarship, and participation in a research ecosystem that explores sexual identities and gender expressions in culturally humble, sensitive, and appropriate ways. COGS champions and learns from Indigenous ways of knowing, being, doing, and seeing. COGS aims to build collaborative and reciprocal partnerships and relationships with Indigenous peoples and communities through learning and studying initiatives. The vision and mission of COGS centers and prioritizes reconciliation as an active and ongoing process of working to be in better and equitable relations with the Indigenous people of this land.
